The Carlisle EMS Academy is training the next generation of first responders. Whether you have a current certification or are looking to get started, we offer innovative, locally-delivered courses to satisfy a wide range of interests. We even include courses designed to enhance the experience of instructors from other programs. Some courses are available to attendees at no cost via scholarships.
The Carlisle EMS Academy is the educational arm of Cumberland Goodwill EMS. All programs are conducted via Cumberland Goodwill EMS.

In partnership with Employment Skills Center in Carlisle, the Carlisle EMS Academy is again offering a Summer EMT Academy.
For qualifying students, the Employment Skills Center is offering scholarships for 100% of program costs.
To be eligible for scholarship, participants must complete the 4-day preparation course held at ESC, June 8-11 2026

$1300 if self-funded, eligible students may receive full scholarships through Employment Skills Center
*Tuition includes textbook, LMS-access, NREMT cognitive exam voucher*
Schedule:
8am-1pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 6/12 to 8/14. Additional Saturday sessions from 8am-4pm on 6/20, 6/28, 7/11, 7/25, 8/8, and 8/15. A midterm break will take place from 6/27 until 7/5.
