Cumberland Goodwill EMS is a nonprofit emergency medical services organization proudly serving the greater Carlisle area in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.

Our Services

Emergency Services

We provide the highest level of emergency care with our team of EMTs and Paramedics, available 24/7 for any emergency. Our fleet of 11 ambulances is stationed between two stations in Carlisle and South Middleton, ready to respond at a moment's notice.

We've been recognized by the PA EMS for Children Program at the "Expert" level and maintain advanced equipment including:

  • Lifepak 15 heart monitors
  • Portable ventilators
  • LUCAS Chest Compression System
  • Video intubation devices
  • iPads and iPhones for access to latest patient care technologies

We are the only agency in Cumberland County with Commission on the Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS) accreditation.

Non-Emergency Transport

We provide transportation between hospitals and return transport to home or residential facilities. Our services include:

  • Hospital discharge transport
  • Inter-facility transfers
  • Routine medical appointments

Stand-by Services

Event organizers can request our professional stand-by services for large-scale events including street fairs, performances, sporting events, and community celebrations. Call 717-249-0012 (Option 1) to schedule stand-by services.

Community Health Programs

Our professional, courteous, experienced, and skilled employees work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule 24/7, 365 days a year. We also provide specialty services including mass casualty care, first aid services, and all-terrain vehicles.

We're active in promoting health and safety topics through outreach and media programs. We're a proud partner in the Cumberland County 4-Minute City initiative, which aims to reduce deaths from sudden cardiac arrest by building a robust community of citizen-volunteers.
