Thanks to a groundbreaking partnership with the Employment Skills Center, we were able to offer FREE EMT training to aspiring individuals within our community, with no obligation for graduates to join our service. This initiative is a testament to our commitment to community well-being. We’re already grateful to have hired new staff members from this one-of-a-kind job training program, which strengthens our team and reinforces our pledge to be there for you.
Our annual membership drive remains the cornerstone of our funding for the year. While we receive some municipal support, it falls significantly short of covering the escalating costs of delivering emergency medical services to our community. It’s the unwavering support, involvement, and resilience of our community that preserves our identity as a local, nonprofit service, in a landscape where many have been acquired or forced to close.
