Training & Community Preparedness

At a community preparedness event

We firmly believe that one of the best ways to serve our community is to supply as many people as we can with the equipment and training necessary to save lives. That’s why we started our community preparedness division, consulting on AEDs, first aid kits, and providing the training and support to go with it. We also offer FREE hands-only CPR to any organization that wishes to learn this lifesaving skill.

Cumberland Goodwill also provides training to other healthcare providers in ACLS, PALS, CPR, and a wide variety of continuing education topics. Currently scheduled courses are available to view online at the link below.

If you’re interested in a first aid kit or have questions about AEDs, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

You can also learn about the 4-Minute city project, in which we’re proud to be a partner for Cumberland County’s program, including links to training and AED resources from Avive here.
