Cumberland Goodwill EMS extends this invitation for you to take advantage of our annual ambulance membership drive. It is through your generous support that Cumberland Goodwill is able to provide the community with excellent patient care while using the most up to date equipment.

Your donations enable us to staff our ambulances 24 hours a day 365 days a year with dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics. Your contribution allows us to ensure these men and women have the best equipment and training available to save lives in the community. It takes a lot of money to equip and train a first responder, but your contribution helps alleviate these costs.

While your contribution immensely helps to fund our operation, we are unable to provide our high quality level of service based solely on donations. Therefore, we participate in third party billing, this means we will bill any insurance agency such as Medicare or Medicaid for services. However, we will accept any payment from them as payment in full and our members are not responsible for the remainder of the bill. You will be responsible for paying all charges for all calls which are not medically necessary and for all wheelchair / stretcher van calls.

The annual ambulance membership covers your costs for medically necessary ambulance services provided by Cumberland Goodwill as allowed under state and federal laws. This includes both Advanced and Basic Life Support services. Cumberland Goodwill’s Membership Program is not a contract for the provision of ambulance services. A mutual aid ambulance or an air medical service may respond when one of our units are not available and may bill you for their services. The Membership Program is not a solicitation for the offer or sale of an insurance product.

Memberships come in two different varieties. Individual memberships cover one single person, while family memberships cover all residents of a single household. A map of our approximate service territory is below, please check with our office if you have any questions about coverage or memberships in general.
