Last year, Cumberland Goodwill began exploring how Google’s Chromebook’s could help our providers in the field. Last month, three new Chromebooks were put into service at our company. After weeks of preparation, Cumberland Goodwill EMS is proud to announce that our new Aeromedical Service will begin permanent operations starting April 1st, 2012. In an effort to keep fuel costs low and provide a truly unique service to the Carlisle community, we’re publicly introducing Blimp 40, the area’s first and only EMS Blimp.

We’d like to invite everyone to take part in our second-annual Chicken BBQ. On Friday, May 13th we’ll be cooking up the same delicious chicken that was in high demand last September. Even better, we’ll be offering the same local delivery service (within a 5-mile radius of our station) that was so popular during our first BBQ! $8.00 purchases a meal, which include 1/2 a chicken, baked beans, apple sauce, and a roll. We’re pleased to announce that our service has been licensed to begin serving a portion of our community that we had previously missed. Following a rigorous inspection and legal agreements, our company was granted permission to begin inter-time rehab response. This will allow our service to provide re-hydration, shelter, and food to our community first responders who lived well before our rehab service existed.
